The journalists in the corporate news media have let us down by not standing up to their overlords and undertaking their profession in a manner that accepts censorship of information. We no longer receive the benefits of fair and balanced reporting on television, in the major print media, or over the militantly controlled airways. For truthful information is the currency of equity, and if that information is tainted by the interests of profit above morality, then equity and true democracy will never be realized.
